Fr. Kenneth J. Nelan, MS, CTMH, NCC, LPC
Kenn is nationally certified (NCC) as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the Greater Milwaukee area. He is also a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider and teacher.
Fr. Kenn, together with his wife Jan, taught in the Wellness Education department at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona from 2006 thru 2010. He developed and taught the Business Management for Massage Professionals course, as well as co-developed and taught the in-house Reiki courses. Kenn also assisted with the professionalism and ethics courses, and often worked in the clinic alongside students to help them with charting and ethical decision-making. He and his wife returned to Wisconsin where Kenn currently serves the marginalized and disenfranchised in a private practice mental health clinic.
Kenn received his undergraduate degree in Latin American, Caribbean, and U.S. Latino Studies with a minor in Community Engagement and Education and a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. He was also awarded a Master’s in Science in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on Community Counseling and Multicultural certification, and he currently works with the marginalized and fringes of society.
He hopes to one day, together with his wife and other qualified practitioners, open a whole-life wellness and retreat center that emphasizes reaching out to all levels of society as equals.
